Detailed
view of the chassis after removed from its cabinet. This is
a small, classic 5 tubes superetherodyne receiver. There are
two bands, AM and SW and the phono plug. The entire cabinet
assembly is made of bakelite.

Internal rear
view of this receiver. You can see the perfect conservation state
of this little radio, some dust and nothing else to remove in
order to restore it.. |
Nice view
of the tuning glass, this component is in perfect state, looks
new ! There is only a lamp to glow it. During the restoration
process the only broken thing was the tuning cord damaged.

Very
important, before reinsert the tubes in their socket it's
indispensable to clean them in order to remove dust and rusty.
Some difficults receiver problems are due just simply to this
problem.
|
Front view
of the receiver. This radio have only three external knobs: On-off,
Band selector and tuning. Even this radio looks quite a little
it have a great sensibility and selectivity, more than bigger
receivers ones. |

Bottom chassis
view from the components side. It's very simple, note that the
Geloso AF group is the same used in many other receivers of others
companies. Infact the Geloso sell many electronics components
such as capacitors, AF groups, transfomers and so on..

This picture
was token during the restoration and cleaning activity. It was
very simply, just an half a day to clean all parts, cabinets,
tubes and reassemblying. |

Another nice
"night" view of the receiver from its rear side while power on.
You can see the heather of each tube glows.. |
